Hinduism is filled with a myriad of colorful holidays, but today we celebrate the most colorful of them all: Holi!

Though the legends behind its origin vary, and some Hindu communities invariably prefer one story over the other, the messages of goodness, renewal, and love are always the same. Thus filled with a vibrant and joyous mood, it’s also incredibly popular outside of the country, celebrated throughout the world by people of all nationalities, religions, and backgrounds.
